1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing the MK Cleaners website at mk-cleaners.com or using any of our services — including dry cleaning, wash & fold, bedding care, and alterations — you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Services

MK Cleaners provides garment care and related services at our location in High Point, North Carolina. Our services include:

• Dry cleaning — Professional cleaning for business attire, formal wear, and delicate garments.
• Wash & fold — Laundering, drying, and folding of everyday clothing, towels, and linens.
• Bedding & home textiles — Cleaning of comforters, duvets, blankets, and oversized items.
• Alterations & repairs — Hemming, tapering, zipper replacements, button repairs, and custom tailoring adjustments.

Availability, pricing, and turnaround times may vary and are subject to change without prior notice. Specific pricing is provided at the time of drop-off.

3. Garment Care & Liability

We take every reasonable precaution when handling your garments. However, please be aware of the following:

• Pre-existing damage, wear, or weakened fabric may be affected during normal cleaning processes. MK Cleaners is not liable for damage resulting from inherent defects, prior wear, or incorrect care labels.
• Colors may bleed, fade, or change due to the nature of the fabric or dye. We are not responsible for color loss on items where the dye is unstable.
• Items left unclaimed for more than 30 days after the agreed pickup date will be considered abandoned property and may be donated or disposed of at our discretion.
• Liability for any lost or damaged item is limited to ten (10) times the cleaning charge for that item, not to exceed the fair market value of the garment at the time of drop-off.

Claims for lost or damaged garments must be submitted in writing within 7 days of pickup. Please inspect your items at the time of pickup and notify our staff of any concerns immediately.

4. Alterations

All alteration work is performed based on measurements and instructions provided at drop-off. MK Cleaners is not responsible for fit issues resulting from inaccurate or incomplete instructions provided by the customer. Once an alteration has been completed and picked up, modifications to the completed work may be subject to additional charges.

5. Promotional Offers

MK Cleaners may offer promotional discounts from time to time, including the 20% first-visit offer advertised on our website. Unless otherwise stated, the following conditions apply to promotional offers:

• Offers are valid for first-time customers only and are limited to one use per household.
• Offers are non-transferable and cannot be combined with other offers or promotions.
• MK Cleaners reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any promotion at any time without prior notice.
• Promotional offers have no cash value and may not be redeemed for cash.
• To redeem the first-visit offer, simply mention it in person at our location.

6. SMS & Communications

MK Cleaners offers an optional chat widget on our website where customers can voluntarily start a conversation with our team. If you choose to share your mobile phone number through the chat widget, you are providing express consent to receive SMS messages from MK Cleaners related to your inquiry, appointment reminders, order status updates, and occasional special offers.

• Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us.
• Cost: Standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
• Opt-out: You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message received from us. Once you reply STOP, we will not send you further SMS messages unless you opt back in.

• No purchase necessary: Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of any purchase or service.

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service or message delivery providers, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

7. Payment

Payment is due at the time of pickup unless alternative arrangements have been made. We accept cash, major credit cards, and debit cards. Returned or declined payments may result in a hold on future orders until the outstanding balance is resolved.

8. Hours of Operation

Our standard hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We are closed on Sundays. Hours may vary on holidays or due to unforeseen circumstances. Please call (336) 683-3605 to confirm hours on holidays.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MK Cleaners and its owners, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of our services or website, regardless of the cause of action.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MK Cleaners, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of our services or any violation of these Terms & Conditions.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Guilford County, North Carolina.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of our services or website after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
